float waiver
At Meraki Health, float therapy offers a unique space for deep relaxation and well-being. It's designed to ease stress, elevate mood, improve sleep, and enhance mental clarity. Your safety and well-being are very important to us.
Before floating, each customer is required to sign a waiver confirming agreement to the following points:
Session Duration
Allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for each session, which includes time for showering before and after your float. Please be mindful of your shower time to avoid delaying the next client's session.
Pre-Float Requirements
Before floating, you confirm that you:
Have showered thoroughly without oils, creams, or makeup on your body.
Have not shaven in the last 24 hours to avoid skin irritation.
Do not have open or bleeding wounds, fresh tattoos, or piercings (we recommend waiting 30 days after getting a tattoo).
Do not have any contagious disease, including diarrhea or gastroenteritis.
Have not applied tanning products within the last 72 hours.
Do not have any type of hair dye or treatment that comes out in the shower or onto towels.
Do not have henna coloring in your hair or a henna tattoo.
Are not experiencing a heavy menstrual period without the use of an insertable feminine hygiene product.
Are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Are confident about being able to get out of the tank without assistance, unless accompanied by someone to assist you.
Medical Conditions
If you have any of the following conditions, you confirm that you have sought medical advice before floating:
Low blood pressure.
A pacemaker or a serious heart condition.
Kidney disease.
Pregnancy.
Uncontrolled epilepsy.
Serious psychological conditions.
Any untreated medical condition.
Safety and Liability
You acknowledge that floors may become slippery and will take extra care to avoid slipping or falling.
You agree it is your responsibility to consult with your healthcare provider about any medications or health conditions or concerns prior to using our facilities.
You understand that contamination of the tank will result in a charge of £500 for cleaning and refilling, billed to your registered payment method.
You understand that the float tank solution contains Epsom salt, natural enzymes, botanical extracts, and non-toxic biodegradable cleaning products, which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.
You accept that Meraki Health Ltd, its employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss to personal property that may occur during or as a result of your use of the facility.
You will refrain from using the facilities if showing symptoms of COVID-19 or if advised to isolate/quarantine by health authorities.
You accept responsibility for late cancellations or no-shows per Meraki Health's cancellation policy.
